Employing thousands in their manufacturing facilities in Galax, Virginia, and Elkin, North Carolina, Vaughan-Bassett is extremely proud of the fact that over 95% of its furniture is crafted here in the United States by American employees. In fact, Vaughan-Bassett is now the largest manufacturer of wooden adult bedroom furniture in the United States.

Most of their furniture is crafted of wood solids and wood veneers grown and harvested near their facilities in the Southeastern United States.  Appalachian hardwoods including oak, maple, cherry, ash, poplar, birch and beech are the main woods used in Vaughan-Bassett's bedroom and dining room collections.
